If you are here... you're in the right place to start...

And you're not alone...

Give yourself a gift - listen to our audio... we'll start helping you along the way...

Whether it’s because you have experienced a loss yourself, or you care about someone who is struggling with grief over the death of their dog, you have come to a safe space. It’s a big step that you’ve taken, and our goal is to help.

Start by giving yourself a few minutes of calm with our audio for loving dog parents (below or to the right) – listen to it whenever you need, or share with others who need support during this time of loss. Let it remind you that grief is natural and a journey of life and love… Enjoy.

Please only listen to audios when you can safely take a few minutes to close your eyes.

And here are a couple suggestions for the next steps…

Take a breath...

You’re safe here. Take a couple deep breaths – it may have been a long time since you’ve done so.

Focus on pulling the air down to your belly and lower back – that way you get more oxygen to all parts of you so you can feel better in so many ways.

Note: you might feel a bit lightheaded when you start if you’ve been breathing shallowly for a while…

Discover at your own pace...

The road through grief is as long as you need. There isn’t a deadline for ‘finishing’. Take your time, come back and repeat as and when you need.

If you are reading the book, take your time with it and experience the exercises. The audios are meant to be repeated and explored. There’s no rush – just your greatest health and well-being – and that can take as much or little time as you need!

Be guided...

Let someone else help out.

The book and audios were created so that you can explore grief in a different way.

We have studied grief for many years and have found that certain exploration can assist in the journey you are experiencing.

Some aspects or tracks may speak to you immediately – others may be important in the future

Know you are not alone...

While it may feel like you are experiencing this all by yourself, know that there are many loving dog parents around the world who are experiencing the loss of a beloved dog – and many in this community are being helped on their journey.

It’s helpful to let others know they are not alone. If you’ve benefited from the exercises or audios, we’d love to share it! Please contact us and we may add it to our “Dog Parent Stories” page…
